Job Title: Project Manager

Location: Bagshot, Surrey

Salary: £55,000 per annum

Job Type: Full Time, Permanent

Job Role:

Our Client is a leading Managed Service provider of IT Consultancy and Infrastructure services, delivering secure and highly-available solutions that solve business problems. They are currently looking to recruit for a Project Manager who will be based at their office in Bagshot, Surrey.

Key Accountabilities:

* Deliver projects in line with the company's Project Implementation Process

1 Ensure all kit and services are ordered
2 Control the project gates according to the niu Project Implementation Process & record in CRM
3 Capture and record on S drive or CRM documentary evidence of email signoffs
4 Ensure ordered, timely and smooth transition to niu, customer and 3rd party operations
5 Report to the PMO by maintaining CRM in line with the PS Handbook
6 Ensure accounts know when to bill and recognise OTC and ARC in relation to project milestones
7 The 5 project types, Hosting, VDI, Workspace, LAN / WAN, Telephony (inc. Skype for business)

* Scope

1 Understand customer benefits, project outputs / deliverables , and how outputs enable benefits
2 Maintain the PID, gain agreement through the Project Initiation Workshops
3 Track and manage changes, referring and recording commercial decisions
4 Ensure that all the services, components, kit list required for the outputs are identified
5 Ensure the customer benefits are understood, and that acceptance & test strategy is in the PID

* Planning

1 Obtain work breakdown structures (WBS) from project teams, ensuring all activities identified
2 Ensure work breakdown structures (WBS) deliver all outputs / deliverables in the PID
3 Schedule resources accordingly for current stage and schedule future stages where possible
4 Ensure the project team understands the WBS, and each teams' inputs and outputs
5 Forecast effort to completion on a weekly basis in CRM

* Control

1 Maintain & review Project Management Reports with customer and stakeholders
2 Track and monitor progress to plan
3 Identify Risks and Opportunities and manage appropriately
4 Identify Issues and Changes and manage appropriately
5 Escalate well described issues and risks in a timely manner to the right people

* Stakeholder Management

1 Identify the stakeholders in the customer, niu and 3rd parties, record in the PID, maintain in PMR
2 Ensure the RACI, inputs & outputs of project teams and stakeholders are understood & agreed
3 Ensure all project teams and stakeholders communications needs are met to budget
4 Capture and report any communication risks and issues as per "Control" accountability

* Adhere to all company policies, in particular security

1 Record and report lessons learned

Professional / Personal Skills & Expertise:

* Experience of working in an IT Managed Service
* PRINCE 2 Practitioner desirable
* Comfortable with working with autonomy
* Team Player
* Customer focused
